We offer 2 types of surveys. 

The Pre Completion Inspection (PCI) which is the New Homes Quality Board (NHQB) framework that sets a high standard. This is advantageous if you want potential issues addressed before moving in. However, be prepared that the property may not be entirely finished at the time of inspection. Furthermore, the developer may restrict the utilisation of certain tools, such as thermal imaging and drones during the process.

Our Post-Completion Snagging Survey covers all aspects of your new home to guarantee that every detail is covered in our snagging report, our inspectors have knowledge of both Building Regulations and home building standards set out by the National House Building Council (NHBC) whilst keeping up to date with changes. Upon completion, you will receive a comprehensive, photographic report highlighting all discovered issues. You can then use this snagging survey with your developer, enabling them to rectify the snags we have found and removing any uncertainty about what is or is not a snag.

Pre-Completion Inspection (PCI)

This type of inspection was established to give homeowners the right to carry out a snagging inspection before moving in. It was common for developers to refuse us access to carry out snagging surveys, but the New Build Ombudsman changed this (alongside other rules) for developers to adhere to.

We ensure your new home is finished to the highest standards and meet the level of support that you require. We use specialist equipment to carry out  our inspection.
